Motorcyclists all over the country enjoy attending festivals, rallies, conventions, expos and other motorcycle events. This article lists some of the biggest and best events for motorcyclists in the United States.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

Ever since it began in 1938, the Sturgis Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota has been drawing motorcycle enthusiasts. The attendees include all kinds of people, from families to die hard bikers. Over 500,000 people attend this rally each year. It is held every year during the first week of August.

Americade

This is the world's largest touring rally. It is held during June each year in Lake George Village, New York. There are usually more than 50,000 people who participate in this rally.

Bikes, Blues and BBQ

This rally just started in 2000, but it has already grown to include over 350,000 people. It is held during September or October in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a family-friendly event that features a barbecue as its main draw.

Daytona Beach Bike Week

Over 500,000 people attend Bike Week at Daytona Beach each March. There are many activities to enjoy, such as parties, concerts, a street festival and a rally. There is also a motorcycle race, classic and custom bike show and a clambake and seafood festival. This event lasts for 10 days.

Laconia Motorcycle Week

The events featured during Laconia Motorcycle Week in Laconia, New Hampshire are races, tours, swap meets, concerts, bike shows and fireworks.

Laughlin River Run

The Laughlin River Run is the largest motorcycle run in the western United States. It is held in Laughlin, Nevada each April and features concerts, bike shows and a poker run.

Love Ride

The Love Ride is held in southern California and claims to be the largest one day motorcycle event. This is a fundraising event that has a lot of celebrity guests. Celebrities who have been involved in the past include Jay Leno, Peter Fonda, Hulk Hogan, Dennis Hopper, Larry Hagman, Steven Tyler, Pat Boone, Mary Hart, Pamela Anderson and Nancy Sinatra. The 25th anniversary event will be held in October 2008.
